This juried fine art festival features over 200 fine art artists from New England, the US and beyond. Admission is free for visitors!
Artists and visitors enjoy the outdoor festival set on the streets of historic Wickford Village. Eclectic shops and classic homes line the streets as visitors stroll through the seaside village, meeting the artists and seeking out exceptional artwork to admire and purchase. Fine art mediums include oil, acrylic, mixed media, glass, drawing, etching, sculpture (metal, clay, wood, etc), photography, etchings, modern ink, fiber, and more. Wickford is a "walking friendly" village that makes it easy for families, elderly and handicapped persons to enjoy the festival.
Rhode Island is the first state in the nation to go tax-free on the sale of fine art! This is great news for Wickford Art Festival artists who will not have to worry about submitting sales taxes on original or limited edition fine art sold at the Festival and for art lovers who now will not pay a sales tax on most purchases.
