S.A.M. FEST is Slater Mills annual summer festival celebrating the innovative spirit of arts and architecture, manufacture, and creative enterprise of all kinds, at iconic Slater Mill, the place where innovation starts. The Festival benefits the Rhode Island community with two days of free concerts, a makers market, and much more! S.A.M. showcases art and design, artisan manufacture, new music, and performance, in the central square of Hodgson Park against the backdrop of the mighty Blackstone River. Our vendors, presenters. makers, and performers promote art, craft, fiber, jewelry, engineering, and wonder in styles across the board, from up-cycled arts-and-crafts to futuristic gadgetry.
